Experiments Calendar

Visual display of all scheduled and active tests on a timeline.

Calendar Purpose

The calendar shows all experiments with filled start and end dates — both active hypotheses and completed ones from the archive. This helps:

• See the team's experiment load
• Avoid overlapping tests on the same audience
• Plan resources and priorities
• Keep the team informed about current experiments

Experiments are displayed with color markers depending on status: scheduled, in progress, completed, archived.

How Experiments Get into the Calendar

A hypothesis appears in the calendar automatically after adding start and end dates. Changing dates updates the calendar instantly.

To add a hypothesis to the calendar:

1. Open the hypothesis in the Hypotheses section
2. Click the "Schedule" button
3. Specify start and end dates in the modal window
4. Save

The hypothesis will be displayed as a card on the timeline.

Calendar Navigation

Navigate to Calendar via the sidebar menu. You'll see a Gantt chart with experiments:

Left part (list): List of all experiments and hypotheses with dates. Each row contains the experiment name with a status color marker.

Right part (timeline): Calendar with horizontal bars showing the period of each experiment.

Navigation: Click on an experiment name in the list — the Gantt chart will automatically scroll to that experiment's dates on the timeline.

Planning Parallel Tests

The calendar helps see which experiments are running simultaneously. This is critically important if:

• Tests affect the same audience (risk of mutual influence)
• Team is limited in resources to support experiments
• Need to coordinate launches with marketing activities

Recommendations:

• Avoid parallel tests changing the same UI element
• Space out experiments over time if they affect the same funnel stage
• Use the calendar to discuss priorities with the team
